Another shot of the Gallerie Vivienne, an arcade of the 19th century in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. The architecture of the glass roof is different from the previous photo, but still beautiful ! In this shot, I especially like the contrast between the green moss/mould on the roof and the orange christmas lights.

This is an HDR panorama from 12 shots (4 x 3 exposures at 0,+2,-2). Stitched using AutoPano, tone maped using Photomatix.

This arcade, named "Passage Verdeau", is located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It has been built in 1847.

This photo is an HDR panorama created using Photomatix and Autopano from 12 shots (4 bracketed shots at 0, -2, +2). I used a mercator projection for the panorama because a planar projection would have made the picture too tall.

HDR shot of an arcade in Paris, "La Galerie Vivienne", built in 1823.

There are about a dozen of really beautiful arcades like this one in Paris, and each is different in something. I really like the ambiance in this particular one.

And, one more thing : the christmas tree is not photoshopped, it was really red like this 😉
