Hmmmm ! The "Buche de Noël", what a delicious French pastry for Christmas 🙂
The traditional decorations on the cake are little firs, sugar mushrooms, and dwarfs.
This one has been made by my mother. She has learned the recipe from her mother, who herself had learned it from her mother… It has a lot of chocolate and a lot of butter : "heavy" but so delicious 🙂
